Wicker basket "016r"

A deep, oval willow basket built for filling up — the kind you take into the woods for mushrooms, out to the bushes for berries, or down to the garden for a real vegetable harvest, not just a handful.

The body is woven in warm, light willow, with two arched handles of slightly different sizes crossing at the center — a distinctive detail that also means the load is anchored to the rim at more than one point. The rim is braided by hand for strength, since this is where a basket wears fastest, and both handles are wrapped tightly at the base to hold real weight without flexing.

At 43 cm long and 25 cm deep, it has genuine capacity — enough for a proper foraging trip or a full pick from the vegetable patch, not a token amount for show.
